1 + 1 = 2 Protect: SCC’s Conservation Programme

We at SCC proudly remain committed to the heart of why we created SCC more than 15 years ago – to protect this wild and beautiful country through conservation whilst sharing our homeland through unparalleled guest safari experiences from our network of family lodges and beyond.

Through our 1 + 1 = 2 Protect programme, we have donated more than $10,000 USD this year to projects across the region including  The Ocean Trust, The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Borana Conservancy, Elephants in Crisis.

This unique initiative is open to all safari guests whether they are our direct clients or come through one of our partners. The programme gives visitors the opportunity to add 1% onto their safari total to donate to an organisation of their choosing, with SCC matching their 1% donation.

This donation can take place before, during, or after their safari – which means if the guests were left particularly impacted by an organisation they experienced whilst in the country, then they have the chance to aid that organisation directly. This allows our clients to become personally involved with conservation and ensure their safari has a direct, positive impact.
